die musik dieses duos zeichnet sich aus durch die ruhige – fröhliche – gelassenheit und durch die unaufgeregte haltung. nichts beweisen zu müssen, die dinge so sein zu lassen, wie sie sind, sie nicht „interessanter“ zu machen, als sie ohne unserem zutun ohnehin sind. das genaue zuhören, das lauschen, das erforschen des klanges und der ruhe sind die maxime dieses duos, der leitsatz des wollens und handelns.

his music is about sine waves, their appearance in time and at the threshold of perception, as well as their entanglement with acoustic instruments. as a sound artist he is researching the interplay between sound and light. his software project ppooll is in use by improvising musicians all over the world.
