Transdisciplinary Festival for Music and Sound Art, since 2006
The Viennese festival shut up and listen! builds bridges across long obsolete genre boundaries and unites seemingly heterogeneous styles in theme-specific programs. Since 2006, it has staged approximately 400 concerts, performances, exhibitions, and sound installations, held composition competitions, and presented current positions from the most diverse fields of musical and sound art practice in panel discussions, lectures, and artist talks.
In 2019, a comprehensive book and online publication was published documenting the first thirteen festival editions (shut up and listen! 2006-2018, edition sp ce, 2019).
