SUAL ARCHIVES #20 is an audiovisual web archive documenting 20 years of festival history. It contains an extensive collection of photos, videos, and audio recordings that capture concerts, performances, sound installations, lectures, and discussions from two decades of shut up and listen! The archive offers insight into the festival’s development and the diversity of artistic positions presented. Alongside concert recordings and sound recordings, it includes interviews with artists, documentary glimpses behind the scenes, and visual material from past festival years. As a digital platform, the SUAL ARCHIVES provide a structured media retrospective of the festival’s activities to date while serving as an accessible resource for researchers, artists, and anyone interested in the history and development of transdisciplinary sound art and (not only) experimental music.
